Sunday evening (Sep 30), Welcome Reception
A first, informal get-together of participants after arrival and
check-in.
Wednesday afternoon (Oct 03), Excursion
Join us on what promises to be an unforgettable sightseeing tour! A
tour bus will drive us to the Capo Caccia area, perhaps with short
stops on the way (e.g. ancient Roman bridge near Fertilia). At Capo
Caccia, we take a spectacular walkway 700 steps down the cliffs to
the entry of the Neptun cave (Grotta di Nettuno). A tourist guide
will show us the marvelous interior of the cave. The return trip is
by boat back to Alghero harbor. An aperitivo will be waiting for us
after disembarkment. This excursion is an opportunity you should not
miss. You will get good value for the 50€!
Thursday evening (Oct 04), Conference Banquet
Copper 2012 formally closes with a fine dinner and subsequent live music in casual atmosphere. The costs are included in the conference fee. Accompanying persons may purchase additional admission tickets.
